Voliro
Founded in Zurich in 2019, Voliro is a robotics company focused on revolutionizing inspection, maintenance, and repair at height through mobile robotics. Their innovative Voliro T drone tackles challenges with modern technology.
Suprabakti incorporates the Voliro T into Supra Reliability service, utilizing its advanced flying and NDT Inspection capabilities. This robot can operate at various heights and orientations (tilt ± 90°), allowing it to interact stably with surfaces and objects from any angle, making it ideal for tasks at height.
Voliro T Drone
The Voliro T is built to transform how we handle close-up inspections and other hands-on tasks at height, specifically designed for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and similar jobs requiring direct contact.
Stable Contact and Interaction
Thanks to its unique design, Voliro T can apply force and interact with surfaces from any angle, perfect for complex tasks.
360° Aerial Mobility
Fly freely in any direction with the drone’s omnidirectional maneuverability.
Automated Excellence
Automated flying modes and AI assistance ensure safe and efficient operation even in GPS-limited areas.
Customizable Solutions
Voliro T integrates various tools for specific jobs, maximizing its versatility.
Drone with readily Payloads
The Voliro T takes inspections, maintenance, and repairs at height to a whole new level. It comes equipped with a variety of integrated tools, making it perfect for tackling a wide range of tasks.
EMAT (Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer)
EMAT is suitable for inspecting rough and dirty surfaces, even detecting defects up to 4 millimeters deep. It meets the ASTM E1816 – 18 standard and can work on materials from 2 to 150 millimeters thick, with a precision of 0.06 millimeters.
UT (Ultrasonic Trasducer)
This tool uses Echo-to-Echo and Pulsed Echo testing methods to precisely measure material thickness (4-150mm) and identify cracks as small as 0.06mm. It complies with industry standards (EN 12668-1 & ISO 16831:2012).
High Temp UT (Ultrasonic Transducer)
This tool is built for high-temperature environments (up to 260°C) and uses the same Echo-to-Echo and Pulsed Echo testing methods as the UT for measuring thickness and detecting cracks.
DFT (Dry Film Thickness)
DFT (Dry Film Thickness) or coating thickness is crucial for inspecting protective coatings. It uses magnetic induction and eddy current measurement modes, covering ranges of 0 to 1500 µm and 0 to 700 µm respectively.
LPS (Lightning Protection System) Tester
LPS features a special needle probe that can pierce through oxidation and connect securely to lightning receptors. This angled probe applies a steady force of 30 Newtons, ensuring a reliable connection for testing.
