Vulcanizing Equipment
Suprabakti supplies Shaw-Almex conveyor belt Vulcanizing Presses, known for its legendary reliability of over 50 years of hot splicing fabric ply and steel cord conveyor belts. These presses are available in various sizes and configurations and are customizable to meet customer specifications and demands.
UBR VULCANIZING PRESS
The UBR Press, engineered by Shaw Almex, stands out as one of the world’s most advanced vulcanizers. It features the High Tensile Restraint (HTR) system, which replaces bulky pressure bolts with lighter and stronger advanced composite materials. This rugged and corrosion-resistant system minimizes the risk of injury, ensuring enhanced safety during operation.
The new ultra-light beams, weighing only 13.5 kg/meter, grant exceptional efficiency. The UBR vulcanizer is adaptable for either 100 psi or 200 psi configurations, achieved by adjusting the beam spacing using a unique connector system. Carbon UBR heating elements incorporate innovative technology, reducing energy consumption by 40% and enabling the use of smaller power supplies, resulting in lower overall splice costs.
- Signature Almex “Pressure Bag” uniform pressure system
- Custom “Extruded Plank” cooling system within platens
- Innovative “Silicone Element” fast heating system
- Light but the sturdy structure of extruded aluminum traverse bars
- Temperature Control Panel for reliable heat monitoring
- fluid pressure pump and reservoir unit are mandatory for operating pressures above 7kg/cm (100 psi), especially for steel cord splicing
SVP PRESS
The Sectional Vulcanizer Press rubber vulcanizing press stands as the premier heavyweight belt sectional vulcanizing press globally. With Almex technology at its core, the SVP embodies all the hallmark features of Almex press technology. The SVP from ALMEX is a great choice for a sectional vulcanizing machine. It gives portability and usability with unique size coverage for all splice lengths
The machine can be disassembled into separate parts for easy transport and maneuverability while splicing in limited or remote areas. The modular design also allows for an increase in splice length or belt width by including additional components.
SVP platens are made to meet specific requirements and work on any belt widths. Different types of belts are catered for by engineered pressure systems; steelcord belt systems can withstand up to 14 kg/cm2 (200 psi) and fabric ply belting systems up to 7 kg/cm2 (100 psi).

REPAIR PRESS
The Almex SP and SSP spot repair presses remain the primary option for repairing heavyweight belts around the world. These repair presses are designed specifically for fixing tears, small holes, and cuts in conveyor belts, considerably reducing the necessity for entire belt replacements, which leads to cost and time savings.
The Almex SuperSpotter is a portable ‘one-man’ conveyor belt repair machine. As is customary, the SSP has a manual air pressure system. This portable press can fix minor tears and damages. The SSP model is a ‘one-man’ press, which means it allows one person to carry, build, and operate the press at the repair site. Its portability and straightforward usage help to reduce conveyor belt repair time.
