First Hot Splicing Job

Suprabakti secured its first hot splicing contract for Pertamina’s Dumai Oil Refinery, becoming the first Indonesian company to operate a Shaw-Almex belt vulcanizing machine and later its sole distributor.

First Steel Cord Splicing

Suprabakti’s proficiency in tackling large-scale projects was solidified by securing a steel cord splicing contract for a German EPC‘s 1600mm belt used in Bukit Asam‘s overburden removal operations.

Training Center

Recognizing the importance of skill development, Suprabakti Mandiri established Indonesia’s first Belt Splicing Training Center, offering comprehensive training in belt splicing, repair, and pulley lagging.

Pasar Kemis Factory

Our central hub, the Pasar Kemis Factory, spans 6 hectares and houses dedicated production lines for conveyor rollers, pulleys, idler frames, steel fabrication, rubber lining, and molded products – accommodating complete in-house capabilities.

First Rubber Lining Project

Suprabakti secured a milestone project with a Japanese EPC, supplying on-site facilities and skilled technicians for hot vulcanized rubber lining at a caustic soda plant. This marked a significant expansion of our expertise in this area.

Headquarter

Fueled by growth, Suprabakti built a new Jakarta Head Office in 2002. This four-story building houses approximately 130 employees and boasts the SummA Learning Center – Indonesia’s only conveyor belt training center featuring a large conveyor display for better learning.

First Idler Production

Suprabakti launched its proprietary conveyor idler brand, TechnoRoll, and began production at the Pasar Kemis Factory. After that, two years later we continued to innovate by producing conveyor pulleys. We guarantee TechnoRoll’s durability through ongoing field trials.

BeltcarePro Launced

BeltcarePro simplifies conveyor belt maintenance with real-time data and easy inspections. This web-based software developed by suprabakti mandiri programmers and field engineers, provides user-friendly Conveyor Asset Reports with photos via a mobile app convenience.

SmartWeld Installation and TKDN Certification

Suprabakti revolutionized production with the SmartWeld robotic welder for faster, consistent idler frame quality. As the first Indonesian TKDN-certified conveyor roller and pulley manufacturer, we lead the industry in local content certification.

TechnoRoll Goes International

TechnoRoll entered the international market in 2019. Suprabakti’s first foray into conveyor roller exports saw a successful delivery of 13,300 idler sets to the prestigious Taichung Power Plant, a top 5 coal-fired plant globally. A skilled team secured the timely completion of this historic project.

Suprabakti celebrated the topping-off of its new Pasar Kemis Factory Office a three-story, 2,300 m² building. This building is dedicated to R&D for polymer and conveyor products, a SummA Learning Center, meeting rooms, a product showroom, an engineering center, and a rooftop theater.

1985

First Hot Spilicing Job

Suprabakti was awarded contract from Korean EPC to provide hot splicing for all the conveyor belts at hydrocracker facility in Pertamina Dumai oil refinery. We owned and operated the first Shaw-Almex belt vulcanizing machine in Indonesia. Few years later, Suprabakti become the sole distributor for Shaw-Almex vulcanizing equipment in Indonesia.
